Call for Minisymposia

  • Opening day
  • Submission deadline

All conference participants are encouraged to submit proposals for minisymposia sessions. Proposals for minisymposia must include:

  1. a title that suits the scope of the minisymposium,
  2. an abstract about the content of the minisymposium (max. 2,000 characters, including whitespaces and LaTeX code), and
  3. a tentative list of invited speakers (min. 6 speakers).

Minisymposia can be co-organized by multiple participants.

Each participant can only be co-organizer of at most one minisymposium, and each participant is limited to present at most one talk in the conference, with the exceptions of plenary speakers, who may present up to two talks (including the plenary) and the participants in the educational minisymposium organized by the ILAS Education Committee, who may present up to two talks (including the educational one).

To submit a minisymposium proposal, you must have created a conference account in the Indico system (https://indico.math.vt.edu/login/) and be logged in. To get to the submission form, click the Submit new abstract button below.
